• Day 3 – 08/29/2010 Sunday

At 6:28am Mommy got up to some barking but waited for him to stop before letting him out. Our first stop was outside to go potty and again – a poop free kennel! We did have a little wetness but that was very easy to clean up and dry out. He had a full day of 15 minute play time followed by 2 hours of napping. Man must be nice! Today we are going to my parent’s house for dinner with Baby Dozer. It’s Bryan’s birthday dinner and the first time my parents get to meet their new Grandson.
Honey Bunny, Sassy and Angel are my Parents Dogs, well technically Angel belongs to my little sister, but my parents are now taking care of her. Bryan and I rescued her in 2003 from a crazy lady and gave her to my sister. Sassy is and OLD poodle, Honey Bunny is a Corgi and Angel is a rat terrier. They really didn’t pay much attention to the bouncing baby, but we had to keep an eye on Angel because she was a little grumpy about the little guy. Over time she will get over it, he will be 70lbs + one day and she will not have a choice. During our very wonderful dinner of steak and homemade soup in a homemade bread bowl we put Dozer in an open mesh crate so he could see out. He barked and cried for about 10 minutes but got over it and just laid down so we were able to enjoy dinner. After dinner it was time for a little play time outside then time to go home. He played with Portia for a long time but it was soon 10pm and time for bed. A Friend stopped by to say Hi and see the new pup. By the time I got Dozer to bed it was closer to 10:30pm, he did have a barking fit for about 10-15 minutes then he was all done.
