5am was here to quickly, Dozer was happy to be let out o his kennel and rand to the back door
on his own. Then he didn’t want to go outside after the door was opened so I had to push him outside a little bit. He is getting a bath today whether he likes it or not. He is still having potty accidents in his kennel so he is a bit funky. Well into his kennel he goes and we are off to work. I was 5 minutes late to work again today due to construction on I-10. We even took the other exit to get to the freeway and it didn’t matter. After a long day at work I got 2 pizzas, 2 orders of bread sticks and 2 bottles of soda. Its game night, Saints vs Vikings! At half time it is Saints 7 Vikings 9, but I am not worried. Dozer’s first football game and it is a Saints game, I am so happy. Grandpa will be happy too, my dad is the reason I am a fan. I was born a saints fan! Portia, Gizmo and now Dozer are our football dogs. Gizmo loves watching football thanks to grandpa, he used to steal him out of my room when I still lived at home to watch football with him. Gizmo gets all excited when you mention football being on.

Today was also a big day because my niece Jasmine is having surgery. She was born deaf and today was given the gift of hearing. They have to wait till she heals a bit before they can turn it on. The fist sound she will get to hear is the sound of her mother’s voice. Kevyn said she can pick whether it is Grandma’s or Frank’s she hears next but her’s will be the first. As of 7pm they were on their way home from Phx. She is very tired but did well during the surgery. Sent lots of love and prayers their way today.
Football season kicks off with the saints 0-1, WHO DAT! (Saints 14 Vikings 9) Before we sat down to watch the game, Dozer got a bath so he slept through the whole game so that was nice. Now he is wide awake and playful, hopefully Portia can get him tired enough by bed time to go right to sleep. The only bad thing about them playing is that now Dozer will smell like Portia’s spit, so much for the fresh out of the bath smell. 9 pm is normally cuddle time but I will let them play for a while. Well he learned how to jump on the couch tonight, Portia and Gizmo can no longer hid from him by jumping up there. Portia and Dozer love to run through the house and then jump at each other, it is very funny to watch. By 9:20pm Dozer was out, I knew it wouldn’t take much to get him tired. It’s time to go to our bed room to cuddle for a bit before Dozer’s bed time. Had to do a very good cleaning of Dozer’s kennel tonight too, it was also a bit funky. Now they both smell pretty again. The little bed we got from Hollywood’s really needs to take a trip in the washer – but I know it is the smell of his brother that helps him sleep at night. See how funky it is by this weekend, might just have to take that trip through the washer anyways. He will outgrow it very soon. The news says we should be in the 60’s tonight; thank goodness it is starting to cool off in the desert. Soon it will be nice cool days and Dozer and I can take longer walks. Darn – I just realized I didn’t take Portia with me on our walk to the mail box, I will have to try to remember that tomorrow.
