• Day 11 – 09-08-10 Wednesday – 13lbs

Alarm went off at 5am and it took me a while to get up.  Even little Dozer didn’t wake up until I opened the door to that room.  He was able to cuddle with us till 6am again, another quick potty break hen to our kennel we go to spend the day till Mommy gets home from work.  He is being such a good boy.  I got to work a little late do to some road construction out in my area.  I swear I-10 is always under construction!  After a long day at work it was nice to come home to 3 dogs very happy to see me.  The walk to the mail box first thing seems to be working.  He calms down very quickly and now eats most of what I give him.  He snacks the rest of the night till bed time.  The only think I don’t understand is why am I so tired?  8:30pm and I am so ready for bed.  Portia and Dozer were getting a little too rough for my comfort while playing – I am going to have to keep and eye on them.  Dozer is going to have to learn to take it easy when he plays.  Gizmo is still my grumpy old man, wish he would warm up to Dozer already.  He hated Portia at first too, it took him a while to warm up to her.  The poor guy is 11 years old – I don’t want him to be a grump for his last years.  Dozer is getting a bath this weekend, maybe even sooner!
Watching scrubs with the Dozer and Portia dog sitting on the couch.  I was very happy to see that when Bryan got home Dozer was excited to see him.  Bryan made sure to cuddle and say hi to each one so no one felt left out.  They even got more lovins than I did, but that’s ok.  The kids love their dad!  Well at 9pm I am going to move into the bed room and cuddle with the little man till bed time.  Tomorrow I am going to try to walk both Portia and Dozer to the mail box.  Portia doesn’t like it when I out the leash on her.  We got her after her foster family had abused her – so lord only knows what they did to her, so normally dad gets to walk her on the leash.  I will see how it goes tomorrow.  Ever since we got Dozer she has settled down a lot, it seems that she needed a puppy a long time ago, who knew!
Chris stopped by and at 9:17pm I was asked to bring Dozer out to the shop so he could see the little guy.  Well now Dozer is wide awake and ready to play.  I took him outside after he did what I thought was trying to squat on the carpet.  Bryan was outside and was being very distracting to Dozer so all he did was go potty.  By now it was well after 10pm and past Dozer’s bed time.  With the attitude I seem to have at the moment it seems to be past mine as well.  I hear my pillow calling my name – Good night!
