• Day 52 – 10-21-2010 Thursday

Well to my surprise I got one the scale to see that I have lost another pound, that puts me at 18 lost so far.  I got Dozer on the scale and he is 23lbs, he is growing so fast.  I wish he would just stay little.  We all think he is gonna be this big boy, I will laugh if he turns out to be a tiny Boxer.  I found a free pattern for a pumpkin to carve a boxer face on it – so very cute.  If you would like to fine your own go to http://www.bhg.com/holidays/halloween/pumpkin-carving/pumpkin-carving-stencils-of-favorite-dogs/   you have to register to be able to download the patterns but it is free and quick to do.  This week has felt like a very long week.  I am so ready for it to be the weekend.  I am getting my nails donw with my mom on Saturday, then Dozer and I are going to clean out his kennel, well ok – I am going to clean it while he his there and watches. Off to work we go, Dozer breaks my heart every time I put him in the kennel.  I hope that he will soon be able to walk in there on his own.  I will not be able to pick him up forever.  When we got home it was cold, it had rained most of the day and it was only like 63 outside.  That’s the best thing about Arizona, we go from 90 degree weather to 60 degree weather in just one day, insta-Autumn.  Dozer seems to like out walks more and more, he is getting less and less distracted by other dogs and kids that live near us.  After trying to figure out what I can have for dinner it was time to settle down and play with Dozer.  Bryan came in early and Dozer still barks at him and will not come up to him.  So we did some treat training and that seemed to help.  Bryan doesn’t seem to understand that the dogs see me most of the time, he doesn’t spend the time with them like I do.  Well ff to bed early tonight, had to put extra blankets on the bed and run the space heater in the licing room for a bit.  Oh boy I am gonna freeze this year.  I hope my body gets used to it.
