Dozer had not been able to get Bryan to understand that when he jumps off the bed and follows Bryan down the hallway – he has to go outside right then. You can’t make him wait till you are done taking 5 minutes in the bathroom. He will have an accident; thank goodness it is in the laundry room on the tile so I can clean it up really quick, but still. Bryan doesn’t have the patience for a puppy sometimes. You have to be able to out think the pup and know his next move. And I will admit, with Dozer that is not always easy because he is so damn smart. After a long day at work, I got home a little early to take Dozer for his walk. He is getting much better at sitting so I can but the leash and harness on him. He seems to like our walks now; I think going to the drag strip and walking around there helped. I got on the scale with him tonight – 22lbs! my little boy is getting so big, he is almost 4 months old and one over 20lbs. he would not settle when it came time to go to bed, kept getting off the bed to get water, then go out, oh boy was I getting frustrated. But as soon as I tuned all the lights off and out TV off in the bed room, he settle right down. So Maybe it was the TV keeping him up. I will have to see what tomorrow night is like to be able to tell. Well it is VERY late by now, night everyone.
Dozer is our new puppy - his DOB is 6-28-2010. After we got the little guy home I decided to write a diary about his antics. I then thought - I wonder if this would make a cool Blog, and here we are. Enjoy reading all about Dozer, Porta, Gizmo Bryan and I as we all grow together as a family. I do have a habit of referring to Bryan and Myself as Mom and Dad in my writings, our pets are our children. If you would like to Contact me - please Email me at: DozerDays@hotmail.com
